May 2012 Meeting, Bootstrap: A developers best friend
Posted by Nathan Strutz in Monthly Meetings on May 21, 2012
This month we have Dan Vega presenting his session from CF.Objective() 2012 titled "Bootstrap: A developers best friend." I (Nathan) saw Dan give it at the conference and I think every developer needs to see this. Twitter Bootstrap is a front-end library that can make your applications look good with very little effort. It adds widgets that make your programs look professional. This is good stuff.
Here is Dan's blurb from the CF.Objective() 2012 site:
In this presentation we will look at Bootstrap, from Twitter. Bootstrap is a toolkit from Twitter designed to kickstart development of webapps and sites. We will look at what this toolkit actually does and how it compares to other toolkits on the block. I rarely start a project without using bootstrap these days and I am sure that after this presentation you will do the same.
As usual, it's at UAT's Tempe campus, in the main auditorium. We will be there this Wednesday, May 23rd. Meet there at 6:30 PM!
